Your first real project: plan something

Let's use everything so far to plan something you actually want to do.

The lesson

A full worked example — a three-day trip, a birthday party, a garage cleanout. Start broad, add constraints, push back when day two looks exhausting, then ask for the checklist version. The takeaway habit: iteration is normal. The first answer is a starting point, never the final product.

The picture to keep

The refinement loop: ask → react → adjust → repeat. Three quick rounds beat one "perfect" prompt.

Try it — 60 seconds

Help me plan [a real thing coming up]. Ask me 5 questions first, then build a plan around my answers.

Copy it into ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini — whichever you already use. Fill in the brackets with your real life.

Watch out

Verify anything bookable before you book it — hours, prices, even whether a place still exists. That's 🔴 territory.
